Car Accident Tragedy

This summer, was a great fun, exciting summer, Until a tragedy.

One Sunday, I was getting ready with my brothers for a school activity. We were running late, and my brother's girlfriend wanted us to be there on time. After completing all work, we were ready, we all got in the car, buckled our safety belts, and took off. A small conversation started between the three of us. We were talking to each other on a topic. I was on the passenger seat, my older brother driving and my youngest brother in the back seat behind my older brother. We were together and talking on that trip. I was excited to be going to this activity. Not only I was excited even my brother's were also excited. We started to turn a sharp corner. When we were turning, something felt wrong. The car was going too fast, and out of its control. I started to scream. I could feel that we were drifting. I closed my eyes so that i wouldn't have to see the terrible accident happen. I knew i felt we were spinning, and heard a big crash. The last thing I saw before shutting my eyes was a tree. I thought we had only hit the tree. I was wrong. When I opened my eyes, I was shocked. A sick feeling came to my stomach. My head was against the ceiling of the car, and it hurt. Quickly, I found my safety belt and unfastened it. I fell out of my seat onto the broken glass. When i got out of the car, it was flipped upside-down. I saw my brother, Sam get out of the car too. He looked at me and asked if i was alright. I was very shaken and told him i was fine. I wondered if my youngest brother was alright. I called for his name, and he was trapped in the back seat. Sam instructed him to get of the car. He did very quickly. I shaking and scared. The three of us sat at the side of the road, confused, and scared. We needed to call mom, dad, and Sam's girlfriend. This is not the easiest thing to do. My little brother and I cried. Sam tried to comfort us. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed his girlfriend's number. "we got into a car accident. The car is upside-down," he told her. I knew she wouldn't believe him at first, and she didn't, but Sam was dead serious this time. I could hear her in the phone, talking quite loudly with a sad tone in her voice. Her mom called the police. When Sam hung up, and dialed the home phone. As he talked, I could hear a slight panic in his voice. That's when I knew, mom and dad were upset. We waited, still scared with trauma. After a few minutes, two familiar cars came down the road. My uncle in one car, my parents in the another car. They stopped the car, got out of the vehicles, and had angry expressions on their faces. While Sam was being yelled at. I checked my body for and wounds or any glass. My younger brother and I went to the car, dad was taking us home. Dad, my younger brother and I took a long way home, While Sam, my mom and my uncle stayed where the accident happened. After being home for only 10 minutes, we had to go back. After a few minutes of waiting, Sam's girlfriend came very worried. she was scared and angry. She cried after seeing the car, and us. A red jeep came through and out of the back seat, comes my oldest brother. He gave us all hugs and tried to make the mood more positive. He and his friend David went down to the car, and tried to gather the more important things we needed. 10 minutes passed and a police officer came along. He asked a few questions and inspected the scene. Luckily all we got was a fine and nobody got seriously injured. A few days after the car was towed, we went to see it. We looked at the car, unable to use, and pretty much useless. The passenger seat, where I was sitting was dented in. People didn't think anyone would have lived through it. The car looked terrible, but luckily we were all safe. Thank God.
